Something New is coming back

Our history can be read as a continuous line made of products, people and experiences that, over time, have defined a precise way of living the mountains. A timeline that is also a metaphorical line, connecting those who have built this story in the field.

A lifeline that anchors us to the rock while moving through time, linking past and present. This is not a collection of separate elements, but a system in which every product is born from a real need, tested in the field and refined through direct feedback. Mountain rescue operators, alpinists, climbers and enthusiasts actively contribute to this process.

But this line is not only made of products. It is defined by people, and by the way they choose to experience the mountains.

FREE
EVO
PANTS.

When we developed the Fusion Pants twenty years ago, the challenge was to bring ergonomics and functionality into a cotton climbing pant. While cotton offered a natural feel and a strong connection to the rock, its limited elasticity restricted freedom of movement.

The solution came through construction. By mapping the body and placing stretch inserts in key articulation zones, Montura created a pant that followed human anatomy. Free Evo Pants refine this concept using stretch cotton, enabling a simpler construction with fewer inserts and the same level of mobility, updated through more advanced materials.

FREE
EVO
MAGLIA.

The Free Maglia was developed through direct observation of the body in motion while climbing, where arms are extended overhead and the torso remains under constant tension. The garment needed to adapt without restriction.

Its construction addressed these needs with wider shoulders for mobility, longer sleeves for coverage, and a closer fit at the waist for harness compatibility, paired with a distinctive graphic identity. Free Evo Maglia preserves this structure while evolving the material. The introduction of stretch cotton enhances comfort, breathability and freedom of movement, maintaining the original design logic in a coherent performance update.

ERGO
FIT.

Ergonomics is a core element of Montura’s DNA, not a claim but the result of analysis, testing and real‑world use. Each design starts from observing the body in motion, adapting the garment to movement rather than the opposite.

This approach takes form through Ergo Fit, a design principle based on body mapping and movement dynamics. The result is a garment that follows every phase of motion without interference - often unnoticed, yet clearly felt. It neither resists movement nor requires adjustment, defining the natural relationship between body and product that shapes Montura’s DNA.

There was a moment when climbing changed forever. Not because the mountains were different, but because someone began to look at them in a new way...
